Riel is a bold, healthy gelding with a solid constitution. Like most Canadians he is an easy keeper, he enjoys his run-in shed and pasture, but also loves to be in his box stall. He is good with the farrier, vet, loads and trailers with no problems. He enjoys grooming and will stand in cross ties. He is respectful of all types of fences and goes well on trails and through water. He trots down the country roads pulling our cart or sleigh. He also skidded logs in the bush. He is not spooky. We are sadly offering him for sale as he requires more time, than we have to give. He will need a bit of a refresher as he has not been used since last summer. A good horse savvy home is a must. Mare, very well trained to drive double.  Rose is gentle, docile and also easy to drive.
They enjoy working and are a great match being full brother and sister.  They have a good walk and a nice trot.  They respond very easily to commands when working in the field.  They are always together.  Very affectionate horses and not at all nervous, always dependable and honest.

"Wally" is a compact, agile, clever 2 y.o. gelding with a natural gallop tendency and a pretty face. He has remained an interesting dark chocolate colour and we expect him to mature at around 15.1hh. "Wally" is well-handled: he knows how to longe, he can be bridled, he has learned to load and it is not a problem to tie him, groom him or to trim his feet. "Wally" has a sensitive character and he will bond closely to his person. His sire is an excellent all-around horse, that can pony a green horse on the trail, easily jump a 3' course, and show a good piaffe. Asking price is $3500, but all offers will be considered.

J'ai une excellente jument poulinière de 18 ans, Ranch-L Bienvenue Cognac #6069. C'est une jument très douce. Facile à accoupler et facile d'approche lorsqu'elle a un poulain avec elle. Elle est aussi très bonne à l'attelage. J'ai aussi sa fille, une pouliche de 3 ans Des Jardins Evry Ugénie #12519. Je la surnomme simplement "Jennie". Elle est aussi douce que sa mère avec qui elle à une belle complicité. Elle fera sûrement aussi une très bonne jument poulinière. Elle a été débourrée à la selle mais son entraînement n'est pas terminé. J'ai aussi un jeune hongre de 2 ans. Fils de Cognac et demi-frère de Jennie; Des Jardins Perceval WhispeR #13033. Petit fils du Fameux "Lambert Rex Capitaine" #6077. Il est très doux et facile d'approche. Il fera sûrement un excellant cheval de selle et d'attelage. Herd reduction: It's with regret that I must part with my three Canadians. I want to find them a new home with gentle and patient people that will love them as much as I do. I have an excellent 18 year old broodmare Ranch-L Bienvenue Cognac #6069. Very gentle mare, easy to breed and she doesn't mind having people close by when she gives birth and when she has a foal with her. She is also great under harness. I also have her daughter Des Jardins Evry Ugénie #12519 but I simply call her "Jennie". She is gentle just like her mother and she will for sure make a very good broodmare. She is started under saddle but her training is not finished. Finally, I have a young up and coming stallion, son of "Cognac" and half brother of "Jennie"; Des Jardins Perceval Whisper #13033, the grandson of the Great "Lambert Rex Capitaine" #6077. Molson (nickname) is an 8 year old Canadian gelding. I have owned him since he was a two year old and have used him for many different disciplines. He loves to jump and has jumped up to 3'6, but would probably be most comfortable jumping around 3'. He is the type of horse who will jump anything for you as long as you are confident and sure of the fence. I would not recommend him to an inexperienced rider as he can be quite strong. He is an awesome mount for X-country, will go over any obstacle and has no issues with water. He is great to hack out alone or with others. I use Molson for pleasure riding mostly - I love to go out on the trails and he is perfect for that! He has been taught to drive as well, but has not been hitched in quite a few years, so he would need a refresher course if need be. I could see him being a great school horse for intermediate riders. He is very sensitive to rider aids, so he would do well with someone who is not too aggressive in the saddle.

Molson is a super sweet horse who is very curious and loves to give kisses! He is the type of horse you can build a strong bond with. He has no vices - has never kicked at another horse or pinned his ears when other riders and their horses are next to him. In the herd he is usually pretty high up in the pack, but he is not aggressive with the other horses. His feet are great - we have never had any issues (he is barefoot), and there have never been any lameness issues with him. He does need some fitting up however, because he hasn't really been worked that steady this past year.

The reason I am selling him is just because I am in my mid 20's and my priorities are changing. I have a house and lots of bills to pay. With my career just getting going I find myself not being able to get out to see him as often as I would like, and I do not like seeing him sit out in a field with no work to do. I will be very sad to see him go because I have owned him for six years - he has been my baby!! To be honest I could see him being a perfect fit with a teenage rider who is interested in jumping or X-country and would like a steady, sure mount with enough spark to make the ride fun. On the other hand I could see him with an older rider as well who is just interested in trail riding or pleasure riding because he is extremely versatile!

Hurricane is an athletic 12 year old gelding, 15.1 hh, bright bay with a small white star. He has had annual medical checkups which include all recommended vaccinations, dental work and is de-wormed regularly. Detailed medical records are available. He is very well behaved, respectful and a pleasure to work with. He stands quietly for the vet and farrier.

We have owned Hurricane (Uri) since he was 6 years old. He is handled daily and willingly accepts our direction. Uri loves people and is a real sweetheart with a great personality. He is regularly ridden for pleasure on our farm and at other off site social events. He is also green broke for driving single and in a pair.

Hurricane has inherited his athleticism from his sire Dazzler and his flowing movement from his dam Dixie. This horse has much potential.
