BEAUXBIENS MARSHALL ROMAIN #11169 See Pedigree

Height: 15.1hh
Born: July 3, 2005

Romain is a magnificent gelding who will be 3 in July. He was born on our farm and I started him under saddle in Fall of 2007. I then introduced him to long-lining over the winter in preparation for driving. Last April he was trained in western equitation by Rebecka Michaud, an excellent rider and professional trainer who has enjoyed great success in performance competition at the provincial level.

Romain also participated this spring at a clinic for showing in hand (halter) and western equitation where he demonstrated exemplary behavior. Since his return from training, we are trail riding alone and in a group in western saddle. He is brave and listens to his rider. Romain is a horse that demonstrates a great mind, strength and calmness all rolled into one. He is easy to handle and a very safe horse to ride. Romain has also been shown extensively as a youngster as a stallion with again, superb behavior, never phased by anything, even his first time out.

For more information on this rare pearl, please contact Jody at canadianhorselink@hotmail.com (on behalf of Heidi Fortin). Location: St-Pacome, Quebec. $5000 CDN.

MORR-MCNAUGHTON LOU-II RAY
#11187 See Pedigree

Sire: Pineview D’Heritage Lou-II - #10139
Dam: Pineview Surprise Molly - #11179
DOB: March 30, 2005
Price: $4500.00 CDN

Ray is a tall black Canadian gelding with a beautiful star and tremendous presence. We’ve nicknamed him Fabio. He stands approx. 16.1h. Ray was born on our farm during sunrise. Ray was introduced to harness and line driving at 6 mths. He was green broke to saddle Jan 2008. He was cantering by day 5 (he cantered the first time he was asked). He does have a very dressage look about him as does his Dam Molly. He was rather anxious in the arena and obstacles needed to be placed in different places in the arena each day to help him overcome his fears. Although when he was taken outside in a large open paddock he just plowed quite confidently through the snow. He does require a confident (not heavy handed) rider to encourage his confidence. This should improve as he ages. He is in a herd of three other geldings. He is definitely the herd leader although he is a lover and not a fighter.

Polaris is Black (does sun bleach) with few white hairs on forehead. He stands approx. 15.1 h. We have owned Polaris since he was 1 week old. Polaris is a classic Canadian gelding with nice big feet. He has a beautiful eye. He was trained to drive at 17 mths and green broke to saddle Jan 2008. Polaris’ comfortable pace is somewhat slow. He is a pleaser. He is with three other geldings and is very playful. He is the oldest in the group of four, although he will discipline the younger geldings he is not the herd leader.

BRILCINE FRONTIER-TRAVEL MILES
#9967 See Pedigree

15.1hh adorable bay gelding with very nice temperament, great with farrier and vet. Going well under saddle at walk and trot, started some canter work. I have owned Miles since he was a foal. It was only during his first two years that I drove him (a few times on roads). Once he outgrew the training buggy, I starting to ride him and I never had the opportunity to hitch him again. I have worked on the ground with driving lines and I'm sure he would remember if started in driving again. Reason for sale, circumstances have changed and I no longer have time for a horse. He is a real sweetheart and must go to excellent home. Asking $2800 CDN or best offer. Located in Cobden, Ontario.  For more information on Miles, please contact Christine Lewis (613)646-2766, email: cdsalewis@hotmail.com

CREST ZIPPER SAMPSON
#11776 See Pedigree

Stunning coming 2 year old gelding (gelded September '07). Sampson has had show experience (came 2nd as an intact yearling in the combined 1 & 2 yr old colt class at the Pacific Canadian Horse Show). He has great conformation and a very pretty head and neck. His movement is good and I think he could be suited to a hunter/jumper and/or 3-day eventer with the right training. His 14.3hh dam is a proven show jumper having had wins at big horse shows and has jumped 4'6" at home. His 16hh sire has extravagant dressage movement. We expect Sampson to mature over 15hh. He is easy to handle, trailer, good with farrier and vet. No vices and no known health issues either now or previously. He has been vaccinated and de-wormed regularly and has had his feet done every 6 weeks. He is sociable with humans and other horses. Sampsoon has had 24 hour turnout during the summer with other horses and is stabled with daily turnout during the winter. The only reason he is for sale is that I am downsizing my herd, keeping those that are already trained to ride. Asking CAN $4,500 CDN + GST but open to reasonable offers for quick sale before 30th October, 2007. Contact Andree Stow at cuckoosrest@shaw.ca for more information or call 604 808 1151 (located in Langley, BC).

MARYLAND

SAGUENAY EVE YUKON JOSPATRIOTE
#8329 See Pedigree

On occasion we come across some exceptional Canadian horses that have everything it takes to perform and win in dressage at higher levels, horses with unlimited potential. Jospatriote is definitely one of them.

We bought Jospatriote a few years ago as a breeding sire for our herd. We used him for a couple of years as a breeding stallion but his talent was being wasted. We decided to freeze his semen so he could keep passing on his exceptional balance and dressage ability and he was then gelded to permit him to be trained and shown at his best. He was sent to True North Dressage in MD, USA to begin his dressage career with Kimberley Beldam.

This horse is AMAZING. At 15.3hh, he has a lovely reaching trot, a fabulous on-your-haunches canter which rides like a rocking-horse canter, and a ground covering walk. He is light in the bridle, super easy off the leg and wonderful to handle. Excellent lateral work (leg yields, shoulder-in, walk pirouettes), counter crisp transitions – stands quiet, no dancing, clips, trailers, trial rides alone or group, in short he is a DREAM!. He would suit both an amateur or professional and will easily make his way up the levels.

This outstanding horse has begun his showing career (training /first) and was fabulous at his first show. Jospatriote took 1st place Aug. 18th in this First Level Test 1 class at his second dressage show ever in a very competitive class. He consistently scored in the mid/ high 60’s and even though he only showed ½ season he finished 4th out of 216 horse/rider combinations in all of Maryland at the year end award.

He received very good comments form the different judges confirming he has what it takes to make it up the levels. Jospatriote was the center of attention and attracted admires and praise about his gentle, calm nature. He’s simply a stunning one-in-a-million- horse.

Jospatriote is presently being schooled at 2nd Level; counter-canter, shoulder-in, renvers, pirouettes, canter/walk transition also started with half pass. He will be shown this winter at 2nd Level.

For more information, please contact Kimberley Beldam FEI Rider/ Trainer 301-748-0413 or by email sabovee@horsemail.com.  Asking $35,000 US.  Serious inquiries only please.

RAYVEN CALYPSO HENRI
#9017 See Pedigree

Père-Sire: Pancho Felix Calypso #6016 (Bai - Bay)
Mère-Dam: Quatre G Billy Boy Dolly #6596 (Brun - Brown, 15.2hh mains)

Henri is bay coloured and 15.3 hands and is a very refined Canadian gelding. Born April 13th 1998. He performs well in driving single and double and riding (English, western and Australian saddle). He is a very pleasant trail-horse. He has good gaits and does not need to be urged on. I believe he would do very well in jumping as he has a lot of impulsion and energy. He also has good potential for dressage. Reason for the sale: we lack time to spend with him as he needs to be ridden at least twice a week otherwise he accumulates too much energy. At the moment I simply do not have the time to spend with him, regrettably. I recommend Henri to an experienced horseman/woman and not to a beginner. Asking price: $5500 CDN. FISHER VIEW JACKSON PIPPIN
#10956 See Pedigree

Sire: Willow View Dawn Jackson #8204
Dam: Calo Billy Eloise# 6499

2004 all black gelding, 16.1hh. Pippin stands at 16.1hh at 3 years of age and is still growing. As you can see he's well started, I've done natural horsemanship with him (currently well into level 2 PNH). He trailers, ties, clips, goes over bridges, jumps, tarps, has no trouble with water. Walk, trot and canter is no problem, and he stands by the fence waiting for you to put a halter on him. I have ridden him mostly in a halter (as on the pictures), and in an arena setting have ridden without reins altogether. He has however been in a bridle (snaffle) as well. He's had arena work as well as trail rides. I've also been on him bareback. He's very quiet. He's been to three shows in his life - one as a weanling, one as a yearling and one as a two-year old and did very well overall. His only vice I can think of is that I have caught him cribbing a couple of times, usually when he's excited about food coming! My reason for selling him is that I have too many to keep up with. This horse would make an excellent English horse, he has a wonderful extended trot and collects naturally. We are located one hour from the US border in British Columbia, Canada. Asking $10,000 CDN.

For more information about Pippin, please contact:  Uli Helvoigt, 250-426-4989, ulihelvoigt@shaw.ca.
