YUKON JACK

Sire: South Forty Prince Fonzie of Cherry Creek Canadians • Photos & Information
Dam: Canadian/Percheron PMU mare (our own Ms. Tyson)

5 year old black Canadian gelding with a dash of Percheron. Yukon Jack is about 15.2 hh and very solid, with good bone and hooves (goes barefoot). Hardy and thrifty, no health concerns or injuries. Trusting and very people-oriented, obedient. Not dominant with other horses. Easiest to care for horse you ever had. Grew up on 200 acres of bush and rough ground - would make a wonderful trail or mountain horse - although he does have the conformation to do dressage, and the movements to be a reiner. A barrel racer he's not, he's more the laid-back type. Yukon was started at Chris Irwins' Train the Trainer clinic. He doesn't have a lot of miles under saddle, but is very willing and calm in the arena and on the trail, just don't expect any fancy moves just yet. Black except for two little white 'safety reflectors' on the backs of his hind hooves (a few white hairs on flanks in summer). Location: Deadman-Vidette Rd km 56, 100 km northwest from Kamloops, British Columbia. Price: $ 2200 CDN.

PART-BRED CANADIAN COLT

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

JACK

Dam:  Registered Canadian: Rohirrim Flic Nordica #10235 -- Photo 1 Photo 2 •  Photo 3Photo 4
Sire:  Registered Morgan: RiverDancer #11652 -- Photo 1Photo 2 •  Photo 3
DOB: May 25, 2008

'Jack' has taken the best of both worlds. He has superb conformation, an exceptional disposition, a gorgeous head, and movement to die for.

His dam at the young age of 5 years old is a proven show horse with earnings in excess of $3000. As a two year old she was the Atlantic District Canadian Horse Futurity and Fun Show Champion against aged horses. This mare rides English and Western and drives both single and double. She is ridden by both young children and aged/experienced riders. She is a natural over jumps - with lots of impulsion and a great mind she is a force to be reckoned with in the show ring. She is used summer and winter hauling manure, harrowing fields, and giving rides in the wagon and cart to the family. She also shows regularly in the cattle penning ring. She has a natural stop and can move cattle around with ease. Dam is 15'2 hands.

His sire rides English and Western and drives both single and double. He demands attention and his movement will leave you in awe - with beautiful knee action and his floating gaits. He pops over jumps as though he is on springs. Dancer's parents were bred with the hopes of producing a stud colt. His destiny was decided long before he was born. This horse has a work ethic like no other - he has worked in the woods, in the fields, and been driven in cart at shows. He has absolutely no fear of new situations or intimidating objects. Sire is 14'3 hands.

Jack leads, ties, and picks up all four feet. He is completely black (no white markings). He was imprinted at birth and has been handled excessively. Due to his mother's love for attention he is following suite. This colt has endless amount of potential with great bone, strong feet, and a disposition to die for. Expected to mature around 15 hands. Registered as a part Morgan for an additional fee of $200.00.

Additional pictures will be available as he grows. I am familiar with several shippers that travel within the Maritime provinces, Quebec, and Ontario. Price: $2000 CDN.

part-bred CANADIAN MARE

QUEBEC

MAGGIE

Height: 16hh
Age: 12 years old

When I bought Maggie in 2005 I was told she was an unregistered Canadian Mare. But since owning her I have come to believe that she is part Canadian and part Clydesdale - just take a look at her. She sure is a wonderful all-purpose horse! Great on trails and I ride alone most of the time (she is not spooky). She is a pretty mover and is a good dressage prospect. She is always ready to work, listens very well to her rider or driver, she knows her job. She moves well off the leg and collects very well. She has a lovely trot and canter and always takes the right leads.

She drives very steadily too. She only wears shoes in the winter for sleigh rides.

Maggie's hooves are trimmed every 6-8 weeks, dewormed 4 times a year and vaccinations are up to date. Maggie has never been sick or lame during the time I have owned her and she is absolutely vice-free.

Maggie gave birth to a nice colt in 2006 as she was in foal to a TB when I bought her in 2005. She is an excellent mother. Asking $5500 CDN or best offer. Located in Rigaud, Quebec (near Vankleek Hill, Ontario). Reason for sale: need to sell two of my three horses, trying to sell the most marketable. For more information on Maggie, please email Marilyne at Marilyneb@agribrands.ca.
