Bienvenue à la Ferme du Windigo !
Nous sommes situés au Québec, près de Mont-Laurier (250
km au nord-ouest de Montréal, 200 km au nord d’Ottawa).
C’est avec un immense plaisir que nous vous présentons la liste de nos
chevaux à vendre. Nous prônons un élevage dont les sujets sont conformes aux
caractéristiques traditionnelles de la race : force, polyvalence, belles
allures et excellent tempérament. Nos chevaux sont élevés avec amour
et passion. Ils vivent dans un environnement propice à leur développement
physique et psychique. Intégré au troupeau dès leur naissance, ils
apprennent les règles de la vie en groupe avec leurs congénères. Manipulés
dès leur plus jeune âge, ils développent aussi un respect et une confiance
naturels envers l'humain. Tous nos chevaux reçoivent un entraînement selon
une méthode éthologique basée sur les enseignements de Josh Lyons et
d'Elisabeth de Corbigny.
Nous avons plusieurs chevaux de différents âges et à divers degrés
d’entraînement à vendre. Nous espérons que vous trouverez parmi eux votre
futur compagnon !

Welcome to the Windigo Farm!
We are located in the province of Québec near Mont-Laurier
(250 km north-west of Montreal, 200 km north of Ottawa).
We are proud to offer the following horses for sale. Our breeding program is
based on trying to preserve the traditional characteristics of the breed:
strength, versatility, good movement, and excellent temperament. Our
horses are bred with all our love and passion. They live outside with
several other herdmates which is ideal for their physical and psychological
development. Foals are handled from the beginning of their life and they
develop respect and confidence in humans. All our horses receive variety of
natural horsemanship training (John Lyons and Elisabeth de Corbigny’s
methods).
We have several horses of various ages and stages of training for sale and
we hope you’ll find among them your next life-time partner!

Éleveurs, ou futurs éleveurs, voici pour vous une belle opportunité à
saisir ! Pour un temps limité, cette jument est à vendre avec son poulain de
l’année !
Corali est une superbe jument poulinière, raffinée et distinguée,
descendante d’une excellente lignée (Viger/Henryville). C’est la petite
fille du célèbre étalon Tonka Wonka. Elle a une excellente conformation et
est arrivée 2e au concours J.A Couture en 1995 (organisé par la SECC).
Malgré son âge, elle est en excellente condition physique.
Corali est une très bonne maman, patiente et attentionnée envers ses
poulains. Même suitée, elle reste proche de l’homme, respectueuse et bien
élevée. Elle a un excellent tempérament et elle est facile à manipuler. Elle
a déjà été emmenée dans plusieurs évènements publics et a toujours gardé son
calme. Elle a toujours vécu dehors à l’année avec le troupeau. C’est
une jument avec beaucoup de personnalité et elle prend facilement sa place
dans le troupeau. Grâce à cela, ses poulains gagnent beaucoup de confiance
en eux dans leurs relations avec les autres chevaux.
Corali marque tous ses poulains avec son excellente conformation. Parmi eux
:
• Windigo Noireau Héritier : C’est un étalon reconnu, ayant à son
actif plus de 26 poulains.
• Windigo Utile Juno : Jument gagnante du futurité provincial en l’an
2000.
• Windigo Utile Karisma : Jument gagnante du futurité provincial en
l’an 2001.
Corali est vendue avec son poulain de l'année, un petit mâle bai par Windigo
Tain Montcalm. Regardez les photos de ce poulain et vous comprendrez qu’il a
tout le potentiel nécessaire pour être un magnifique futur reproducteur !
Corali serait un atout certain pour votre élevage ! Aucun problème de
santé. Aucun tic ni vice. N’a jamais porté de fers et a toujours été trimée
en parage naturel. Embarque très bien dans un trailer.
Raison de la vente : Réduction de troupeau et l’une des filles de Corali
étant la favorite de notre fille, nous allons garder cette dernière et
vendre la mère.

Corali is a stunning broodmare, refined and elegant. She has an excellent
bloodlines (Viger/Henryville) and she’s the grand-daughter of the famous
stallion Tonka Wonka. She has an excellent coformation. She has never been
shown, however she obtained 2nd place at the J.A Couture contest in 1995 (organised
by CHBA for the Quebec province) In spite of her age, she’s in excellent
physical condition.
Corali is a very good mother, she’s patient and caring. Even with a foal at
her side, she stays very close to humans, respectful and well baheved. She
has an excellent temperament and she’s easy to handle. She was brought
several times to different public events and always stayed calm and quiet.
She has always lived outside with several other horses. She has lots of
personality, which allows her to take her place in the herd. That makes very
self-confident foals !
Corali stamps all her foal with her excellent conformation. Among them :
• Windigo Noireau Héritier : He’s a nice breeding stallion with more
than 26 offsprings
• Windigo Utile Juno : Winning mare of the provincial futurity in the
year 2000.
• Windigo Utile Karisma : Winning mare of the provincial futurity in
year 2001
Corali is sold with her last foal (born in july 2010), a nice bay colt by
Windigo Tain Montcalm. Just have a look at the photos of this colt and
you’ll understand that he has everything to make a future famous breeding
stallion ! Corali would surely be an great asset for your breeding
program ! She’s perfectly sound. No vices. Has never been shoed.
Barefoot trim. Loads very easily in a trailer.
Reason for sale: need to reduce herd and one of Corali’s daughter is the
favourite of our oldest daughter ! So we’ll keep her and want to sell the
mother…
